    High pitch squeal with fans on.

    Hi, I have a 2020 commercial and I’m getting a rather irritating very high pitch squeal when the heater fans are running.
    Has anybody else noticed a noise from their vehicle at all?

    My first D5 Commercial had this. It just started one day, very annoying once you knew it was there. My new doesn’t have it, but new has horrible squeaks from the rear cabin! I preferred the fan whine.

    So not just me then.

    I can hear cat scares which most people can’t so have sensitive hearing with high pitch noises.
    It’s like everything, once you hear them you seem to home in on them all the more annoyingly Laughing

    Did you get your winch fitted?
    Namib Orange 1st Edition with black roof and wheels.
    Privacy, tow bar, drive pack, surround camera, heated front & rear seats, auto dim door mirrors, side steps, remote Pro, RSE, arm rest fridge dash cam front and rear.

    No, haven’t fitted a winch to this one. My eldest has the D4 now so if I need a winch I can use hers Laughing

    I have this issue - need to get it booked in for this and the tailgate!

    Funny I have been looking. Went and looked at the Defender and love the look of it but hate it inside, there doesn't seem o be as much space as the Discovery and the quality feels poor in comparison

    Have been looking at a new D5 but think i am going to hang on for a bit longer, never kept a car this long before

    Whining fans

    Hi
    My started to do this after 30 mins i.e. when warm. LR dealer replaced the fan motor under warranty whilst replacing the windscreen (standard D5 windscreen leak)!
