I agree with moley. I had a rear seat issue which showed up as a seat module fault on a diagnostic.
It just needed recalibrating. Of course dealers charge £240 to do a diagnostic and extra for fixing.
I got my indie to do the initial diagnostic …normally £70 ….but he didn’t charge me because he couldn’t clear the fault.
Took it to the main dealer and told them there had already been a diagnostic. But they said they needed to check ! They recalibrated the seating …and after a “discussion” about them only confirming what I had already told them, they waived their diagnostic charge as such and charged me for reloading software and just recalibrating.
Worth a try with an indie first.
