    New D300 Commercial

Picked a new D300 commercial today.
First job was to take the bulkhead out! Much easier on this one compared with 2018 model.
Rear mats cover the hole in the centre of the carpet.
Dog crate now fitted in the back - labs not really sure what all the fuss is about 😂
We never get to use the boot hence the need to create more space behind the front seats.
Next job will be to cut out the black plastic covers on the; back windows,
Has anyone bothered to get the back windows operating?

Was the bulkhead just bolted in, or did this involve any cutting? If only bolted, would it be a similar job to re-fit it at a later date?
I am due to collect a new D300 commercial next week. I would not want to take the bulkhead in and out regularly, but if it can be done relatively easily, this will be useful when I need to occasionally carry something longer than the bulkhead will allow (not labs!!). Any info you can give me will be very useful (may save me starting something I may later regret!!).
    Thanks!

It is just bolted with Torx head bolts and a couple of hex heads.
You can certainly refit it again but I would not consider it a quick job, you have to get four of lower bolts out by reaching through the centre storage area behind the little side doors.
The carpet sections on the front of bulkhead are held on with press fit poppers which won't stand up to too much removal and refitting.
I'd say at least an hour's work to remove it and the same to refit.

That's great, thanks for the quick reply! Will have a proper look once I (hopefully) pick up next week, but at least I know this is possible if I need to. Hope you are enjoying the van/car!
