    2018 Discovery TDV6 HSE Carpathian Grey

    No keyless unlock

    Hi, I recently treated myself with a 2018 D5.
    One of the 2 keyfobs cannot be used to keyless open the car.
    Lock and start the engine works.
    Using the buttons on the fob also works. The dealership replaced the battery but still no keyless open.
    I also performed the enable/disable keyless procedure.
    The 2nd keyfob works as expected.
    Any ideas?

    sounds like a bad NFC chip on the fob - does it work to start the car when you hold it up to the "G-spot" on the steering column? Do you get any errors when you're in the car to the effect of "Key not found'"?

    Unfortunately new fobs aren't cheap

    Everything but keyless open works fine. Also the kick to open gesture on the tailgate does not work.
    The car does not complain in any way. Engine start works. I drove about 45 minutes without any issue. I can even lock the car by pushing the lock dimple on the door handle.
