  Someone tried to steal my truck

  So two weeks ago, my MiL caught someone trying to break in to our house.
  They fled as soon as she saw them. We only know the make of car they escaped in
  We didn’t have cameras at the time (they are being installed tomorrow).
  Police said that they were almost certainly after my D5 keys (locked in faraday cage).
  I invested in a steering wheel lock- massive yellow jobby. Well last night they came back (we think) and failed to take the car but scratched every panel on the drivers side as some sort of revenge/calling card.
  I’m fairly upset. I’m not in conflict with anyone professionally or personally… so we think it is my truck they want and couldn’t have.
  We are in County Durham…. Police have been sweet but there is nothing they can do as we are so remote and nothing has been caught on CCTV to go off.

  Such is the mentality of some people. Never ceases to amaze me the low depths of human depravity. Just when you think they’ve reached rock bottom, they sink even further.
