    OEM Supplied 21" Tyres

Fingers crossed I'm expecting delivery of my new D5 in January 2022

I was looking for some help regarding what the OEM manufacturer and size of tyre is on the 21" wheels? The brochure says supplied with all terrain tyres?

I've had a D3 for the past 16 years and a decent AT tyre proved extremely valuable in the Scottish countryside where we live and for going to the horse stables, etc.

I've used General Grabber AT3's for many years now and wondering whether to use the same on the D5 when it arrives

    Thanks

I have AT3's on my D5 (only on 20" rather than 21") and they have been excellent. Don't plan on changing any time soon.

But... Do they make AT3's in that size?

General Grabber sell the AT3 tyres in 275/45r21 but I don’t know what the OEM size is? I also don’t know what the OEM manufacturer is?

    Thanks for the reply Blackbeltbob

What model Pirelli’s are they? And what size?

I’m assuming all D5’s come with that particular tyre?

    Thanks for the help

Yeah I'm leaning towards ordering some AT3's ready to fit to my new D5 if I can figure out if their 21" size fits OK

But still keen to find out what model and size Pirelli tyres LR fit to their 21" wheels on new vehicles

    I’ve had two MY20s, built in summer 2019 and summer 2020. Pre-facelift.

Both on 275/45/21s. Both cars have had Pirelli Scorpion Zero M+S tyres. They’ve seen nothing tougher than a wet field and tarmac but have been fine. Haven’t even seen any snow since owning a Disco.

    Drives: 2020 MY20 HSE Luxury SDV6 in Eiger Grey/Glacier
Departed: 2019 MY20 HSE Luxury SDV6 in Carpathian Grey/Glacier, 440i, 320d, Toyotas, Mondeo, Citroen BX amongst others

Perfect, thank you for the help

I'm 100% going to get the GG AT3's on when delivered now and look to sell the factory supplied Pirelli's with delivery mileage only.

The General Grabbers just tick all the boxes for all my Scottish road/winter needs on the farm

    Thanks again

I agree with the above model and size etc for the Pirellis.

I was never a fan before having Goodyear on all the previous Disco's but I must admit they have been good. I also live on a farm and they have never let me down - anything too daft and the tractor is always there to save the day Rolling with laughter

I say farm, but its only horses we have. Dont have a tractor, so rely on the Disco for everything

AT3 tyres are ordered and ready to be fitted. Just need the Disco to be delivered now Mr. Green

Thanks everyone for the help and assistance Thumbs Up
