    Delivery mileage !!!

    Can anyone give me a heads up too whats considered reasonable for delivery mileage ???

    All my previous new cars have been in single figures ranging from 4-9 miles.

    Was told by a dealer 2 weeks ago that anything over 25 miles is regarded as second hand.

    Mine had 33 miles on it yesterday, and was given no explaination why it was so high ????

    Mine had 7 miles on it when we collected.
    When I'm not in the operating theatre, I'm mountain biking, spending time with my family, running and socialising. I have a Discovery 5 HSE Lux with pretty much every option ticked. This is my first ever Land Rover. Been a rocky road with regards to reliability but we're getting there.

    Legally it varies by market in terms of what is acceptable. I would say 33 is ok.

    It depends on how many times it's been driven around the factory.

    I was always led to believe 100 miles or less was acceptable for delivery mileage.

    30 originally apparently, but 33 as filled up with fuel yesterday before handover Sad

    100 miles god thats a joke - i would not accept that. Probably having a joyride and thrashing it too death at the customers expense. Crying or Very sad

    Apparently Ford allow 250 Shocked Don't know if that's true.

    I'll ask my salesman for you if LR have a set standard, he's usually pretty forth coming with info.

    Yeah I got 2 LR key rings from their gear range in a presentation box but I didn't get dust caps, I can't trump them Laughing

    Dust caps and a box of shortbread, I don't think you even get that sort of service from Rolls Royce.

    I got a full hamper when my Evoque was delayed a couple of weeks.
