I did slightly worse than that, and damaged front and rear door to the same kind of extent. That was over £6k

new door ! the one that says not must be going to use a couple of buckets of filler. Alli wont pull out like steel will. You could try breakers for a door if you are looking to pay for it.

If you dont want to go through insurance, search breakers, you might get one in same colour and do straight swap over, its worth the time looking, they're probably not as expensive as you may think!

I did something similar, but requiring a new sidestep as well. The door was a new replacement, as reskinning was not an option. Total bill £3500, but at least it has been repaired properly.

So if I claimed off my insurance what price roughly would it go up next year. I pay about £500 a year at the moment.
