    Front brake discs.

    Planning to do front pads and discs on my D5. Pads appear to be same part as D4, but discs are different part numbers. New discs arrived and they look to be visually identical to D4 discs (i bought a set for my old D4 but swapped it for the D5 before I got round to fitting them 😃).
    Does anyone know what the difference is?

    Hi
    I had problems finding the correct discs and pads for my D5, there are several different sizes and combinations !!
    I finally looked of the Autodoc website which has all the various sizes and details plus a cross reference to the JLR part numbers

    That isn’t my problem.
    I have the right discs for my D5, but I also have some unused discs for my previous D4.
    They appear to be the same size, so my question is whether I could have used the D4 discs for the D5.
