  Aftermarket Towbar recommendations, and LR warranty?

  Hi,
  Has anyone fitted an aftermarket towbar to their D5? I'm after a detachable one (manual, not electric). I see I can get the OEM part for upwards of £800 but I'm sure I can get a Bosal or Witter towbar fully installed at a reputable towbar shop for significantly cheaper than that. If you have any make/model recommendations please let me know.
  
  Also, my D5 is still under LR warranty - I assume (hope!) that LR wouldn't use an aftermarket towbar installation as a grounds to reject claims etc on engine/electrics/chassis/etc issues?

  Bite the bullet and get a LR one.
  
  As for warranty wriggles outs, I’ve had them use that one on me for an aftermarket item. It had no effect on the issue I had imho, but they argued differently.
  
  I removed the item, still had the problem, but it put the vehicle back in warranty, so problem solved.
