    2019 Discovery SDV6 HSE Corris Grey

    Varesine Blue

    Has anyone got a Discovery in Varesine Blue? There are a few videos of RRS in this colour online but I cannot find any Discovery. I like the look of it and have just placed an order for a new Metropolitan D300 in it.

    I have ordered a Metropolitan in this colour. I believe it's a new colour for MY24. I think they are building MY24 from this month onwards as my original order is being built this month but the dealer failed to add surround sound which I wanted on my build, so I have had to re order.

    Its just another shade of black. You can only see some faint bluish gloss in bright sunlight.

    I think the JLR designers are collectively depressed, given all the crap colors they introduce.

    You have to fork out extra for a cheerful color. And the obligatory glassroof keeps me from

    ordering any new JLR product. I want a steel roof !!

    Varesine blue is not that dark. Slightly darker than the discontinued Byron blue. Google it you will see a Range Rover Sport. The colour looks a lot.darker.on the configurator.

    To me its a very dark grey, when its overcast.







    They should NOT have done away with this color, or BRG. Its a scandal they did..

    I have the Portofino blue which is what is in the video I think, lovely colour when clean and the sun hits it.

    Called at the dealers yesterday and they had a MY24 HSE D5 in the showroom in Varesine Blue. It looked very nice. I can also confirm that this model does not have Merridian surround as standard anymore. They do come with the full digital dash though.

    Verify extensively the TOPIX data from the car and spec list, if all is there for real.
    I had several cars who were supposed to have a "media center storage", that had none at all.

    In the RR it was a "free option"to select a CD/DVD player. If you didn't select it, the system
    would not only not allow to rip cd's to the SSD, but also it doesn't allow you to transfer
    music from USB to the SSD..

    Check the connectivity, if its 4G or 5G capable. Even the seats : 20-way is not always the
    same depending on model. It varies on electric and manual options.

    Remember if you want a towbar : sometimes its not possible to retrofit..

    These little things that could really upset you later.. Rolling Eyes

    I was quoted 5 to 6 months, although the dealer said that it could be 3 months or 9 months, but he did say they are definitely coming quicker than 6 months ago. Shocked

    Dealer is quoting 9 to 12 months. Order form said April. I’m expecting it in more like 6 months but we will see.
