Dipped Beam Fault / headlight not working HELP!

    Hi all

I pranged my drivers front wheel which required 2 new control arms and tie rod end. Drives fine now.

However the final issue is the drivers headlight will not operate at all. I've tried operating all the lights on it including the indicator / hazzards non of which work.

Any ideas why my headlight is not working? dashboard displays dipped beam fault?

Note upon hitting the kerb the wheel bounced inwards and caused some minor damage to the wiring loom behind the wheel arch liner.

This has been reattached / soldered and fixed. prior to fixing the cables were the following warning/faults: suspension fault, HNDC fault, ABS fault These warnings have all disappeared since resoldering cables. Only now the headlight fault remains / wont work at all.

    See images of cables:

Thank you so much for the help you kind people!

Disconnect the headlamp plug and check for voltage, if no voltage then wiring fault, if suitable voltage and its a headlamp unit fault.
