  Just updating this thread with the latest info.
  
  It’s been a few weeks, but I finally found time to get the car back down to the dealer to get this mystery bolt sorted.
  
  The report states that the bolt was
  “due to the trim not being fitted & so it was sticking up from the spacer”
  
  So missing trim / punching a hole through a newly fitted carpet.
  
  I did ask for a health check type video showing the affected components, but received a pic that doesn’t really show much.
  
  Still no recompense for repeated mis-diagnosis & failed repairs resulting in the floor pan spending prolonged periods in very wet conditions.
  
  But I am awaiting some figures re: replacement vehicles,
