Fitting fridge in place of 2nd row seats in Disco5 HSE
Hi, has anyone ever removed the second-row seats in the HSE?
I want to fit my large fridge (45L + 45L, 835 x 495 x 535mm (Closed) * 835 x 495 x 980mm (Open)) there, as I only use the car with my wife, and we go on a lot of holidays being both retired.
Fitting it in the boot is not a great option, because the lid cannot open fully inside the boot.
I would also be interested to know if there is a divider net/frame available that is fitted behind the second-row seats, so when I remove those seats, my cargo does not smack me in the head when i hit the brakes.
BTW, We live in South Africa.

Hi I’m on my second Discovery like you I don’t need the seats in the boot, I always thought Landrover should have an option to easily remove the seats to have a deeper boot.
Here in the UK you can only buy a 7 seater, I believe other markets in the world 5 seaters are available.
MY 21 3.0 D250 S White, 20in wheels, twin sun roof, privacy glass, heated stirring wheel, roof rails, side steps & mud flaps and dash cam front & back..
Gone 17reg 2.0 SE Silver, 21in black wheels, privacy glass, roof rails, side steps.
