    3.0Ltr Rear Diff Clunking Noise - E-Locking Diff

    Hi,

    I'm British but live in Perth, Australia. My 2018 Discovery 5 3.0 HSE TD6 has a clunking noise coming from the rear diff, It's noticeable when taking off from stationary but intermittent in nature.

    I'm having a bit of trouble finding the correct part number. LR Dealer here has given me LR161842 as the correct part number for the E-locking Diff.

    Can anyone help me find out alternative part numbers? I really need the one on the diff itself to make it easier to source a replacement.

    I'm getting quoted stupid money here in Australia, so I should be able to get a second hand one in the UK and ship it over.

    My Ediff was doing the same I changed the oil, its fine now.
    the old oil looked dirty and quite thick the new oil was much thinner Castrol BOT 720.
