    rear boot struts

    Hi all and happy new year, iam having a bit of a problem opening my rear hatch , its a d5 2019, it s an intermitant thing it opens the majority of the times oj but then i hear it un lock but it wont open unless i give it a bit of a hand and when closing its ok would i need new struts ?

    It's not the struts, its misalignment. the bottom of the tailgate is catching the boddywork. If you look closely you will fing scuff marks, Needs slight adjustment to solve, There are other posts on here regarding this issue.
