Brake pad warning light
Hi all,
This morning I have replaced the rear brake pads, as the last service reported them as low, and, over Christmas, the warning came up on the dash.
I have also replaced the sensor with a new one, but the warning remains on the dash.
Should this have reset automatically, or does it require manual intervention?
Can't find anything anywhere about it.
Thanks.

By way of an update....
I figured that the sensor should probably have reset itself, so concluded that maybe the new sensor was faulty.
Checked it all out, new sensor ok, so no issue there. Put a wire link across the plug and still the warning remains on.
Just checked the old sensor, and nothing wrong with that either!
Now wondering if, by some remarkable coincidence, that the front sensor is triggering this, even though the pads are barely half worn? Job for tomorrow now.
