I had the same thoughts a few weeks back about the dash menu re: Adblue
Turns out the Adblue section on the dash is not shown when the engine is running / or engine is off due to stop start.
Scanning settings while sat at traffic lights didn’t cut it.
With just the ignition on, it’s like witchcraft, I managed to find the elusive Adblue info.
Not that it took me 2yrs to realise it was there or anything

Yeah, it's like checking your oil level. Has to be done with the ignition on and engine off with a cold engine...and only after a 40 minute or so enforced delay if you've been running the engine...utterly useless system. I've physically wished for an old fashioned dipstick every time I've changed the oil.

Only reason I morphed from D4 to a '25 D5 is because it has a dipstick, old fashioned but it works fine
