Thank you.

Pretend your a BMW or Audi driver and simply don’t use them.

Turn up the radio really loud.
This will also solve any other annoying sounds coming from the engine or transmission.

Bad news….its spreading.
Approached small 4way roundabout outside our hospital with 3 vehicles all stopped waiting for the “right priority” to happen. Non were signalling so they all sat there looking at each other. I just drove through and left them to think it out.
Non were BMW or Audi….very worrying.
I am not aware of any onboard method to attenuate or isolate (save pulling off a wire) the speaker for the indicator click?

This one intrigued me...since I know the ticking sound is electronically generated rather than mechanical like the old style flasher units.
I went out to the Bling Barge and tried to work out where the clicking sound was coming from...seems like the speaker is directly behind the dash...since the sound isn't coming through any of the door speakers.
The only thing I can think of is that it's a fuse or relay that covers the flasher unit could be blown...I'll see if I can find out what and where it is...

I've raked around every L462 D5 fuse panel diagram I could find...according to most sources, it should be in the passenger side fuse panel behind the glove box.
However, not one of those fuseboard diagrams listed any fuse for the flasher unit (I can't find it in
any of the onboard fusebox listings). Chances are, it's one of the relays in the passenger glovebox fuse panel...but I can't find mention of exactly which relay it is on any L462 fusing diagram anywhere...

Thanks Mole HD
I wouldn't worry about it.
