    Gesture tailgate

    Works every time for me as I learnt how to use it on my wife's DS. Intead of an in and out kicking motion, you need to use an in, sweep, out motion, like kicking a football to someone stood in front of or behind the car ( I guess this is why wagging dogs set it off!). Happy kicking Very Happy

    The Gesture Tailgate on my car has stopped working. Worked perfectly up until last week. Anyone else had this problem?

    Mine stopped working and then I realised I had left my keys in the fold down flap behind the AC controls, and had my house keys in my pocket. I was kicking around for a while so felt a bit of a fool!

    Just got mine this week (California). So, is the gesture tailgate smart enough to know if it's parked in a garage and not open? Not sure this is something I want to test. Wink

    No it's not...don't park up against a garage door and flick some mud out of your mudflap, makes a mess.

    Well, that's disappointing, especially considering how many sensors there are on this thing. Rolling Eyes

    I accidentally set it in motion the other day just by walking by it. I may just have to turn it off.
