Dark……..or quiet?
I bought a new LED bulb for my workbench light. I went for an all singing + dancing, super bright version as the old one is too dim and I need decent daylight in there, especially at this time of year.
Anywhoo, the new bulb arrived today and I promptly fitted it in my angel poise lighting system. First thing I noticed was it was a bit heavy and pulled the angel poise down to worktop level so I had to Jerry rig a hold up solution. Job done, I switched on and the light was pretty impressive I have to report.
Loads of pure, clean light flooded the worktop which was perfect.
However there’s a side effect that I hadn’t seen coming, with the light on, my digital radio cuts out, switch off the lamp and the radio comes back on. Utter bar steward!!!
So the all singing + dancing version immediately became the no singing + dancing version but it’s bright enough to wear sunglasses in there now.
Anyone come across this new age problem before? Will moving the radio help or should I go back to FM? -

Hopefully moving the radio a little will see you right,
Never had a dab at home so don’t know how susceptible to interference they are.
It’s known that led lights do put out electrical noise that interferes with the dab signal.
Tho less so these days with newer kit.
Dash cams are the same, routing the fly lead to the rear cam in the headlining is a common cause of dab interference, especially if the rear mounted radio aerial follows the same track as the fly lead
Will examine the next Google satellite scan for a whiteout in Stockport

I'd be happy if I had electricity...power has been off since this morning and only came on 5 minutes ago.

We have our own generating sub-station on the island...so it was probably a gust of wind under the door that blew the candles out so the hamsters stopped running...
