Tailgate open when moving.
FYI the tailgate will open or close if traveling below 4mph. Go over 4mph and it stops moving.

Interesting does it just hold its position when over speed? and if so does it hold it well?
Was thinking of using a lighting board hung off the back when I have long loads sticking out the back to ensure I'm legal.

Yes and Yes it seems to. Not tried it for any length, distance or time. I would imagine there will be a few lights and alarms going off if you continue.
Then there is the issue of ingress of exhaust gasses that won't be very nice.

Wouldn't that be the same set of issues on D3/4 - not a D5 exclusive problem?
Drive along until the beeps and bongs become "white noise"
Could also set the opening position to the desired setting and job done.
Now: 19MY Velar D240 HSE R-Dynamic
On order: 20MY Discovery SD6 HSE w. Dynamic pack
