    Jack

    We feel incredibly stupid so have to assume we are!

    D5 Jack (S spec if it makes any odds) won't fit out of the hole it's fitted into.

    Priceless call to JLR yesterday.

    First person 'is the jack bigger than the car?'

    Second person 'i've called one of our retailers who cannot confirm it fits out of the hole. You'll need to visit your dealer' - so i'm to drive 100 miles round trip to find out if I'm the stupid one which I think I must be.

    Three of us tried and basically, it doesn't appear to fit without snapping the top part of the cheap plastic trim surround.

    HELP!!!!!!!!

    The jack should fit in onto the little lugs, if that's the correct term, unless you have side steps in which case the jacking points are on the brackets.

    If you have a puncture rather than play around with the useless jack, call LR Assist, far easier and it's what they're there for 👍🏻

    It's getting the damned thing out of were it lives which is causing the problem!

    Had my jack in and out of its storage place 1/2 a dozen times and it fits OK yes you have to 'pop' it in at the top by about 10mm the trim easily moves Thumbs Up

    Same thing on mine, the trim panel fit is not great and the clearance is limited. It does come out but you do need to flex the panel to get it.
