    App wishes your thoughts!

    Hi all not much in the way of apps out there for landrover. I have a fue I would like to see added. although having just had a hire car on holiday with apple car play I cant help but think would it not be easier to just add that and the one for android (cant remember the name of it) and forget about doing a separate platform. What's your thoughts?

    I had car play in a hire car that I had to replace my D5 after it broke down on holiday. Actually did not work out how to use it until at least half way through the trip Embarassed I didn't really get to grips with it so cannot say what apps I would use anyway. Actually still getting to grips with the whole sim card 3G thing on the 3 month freebe. That said I do like the feel of the LR Route Planner when I can sit at work planning routes on the desk top. Is it better than Google maps? probably not.

    Now where did I put that road atlas Very Happy

    WAZE! Brilliant sat nav app which I think VW Group products now can access via in car apps.

    Except the mapping is rubbish!!

    It thinks you get to my house down a footpath as our road does not exist according to Waze.

    Google aquired Waze a few years ago. Not sure if they share mapping yet.

    Google is correct and Waze is wrong for my location, so I guess they are not using the same map data yet.
