Tow eye cover / fixed height adjustable tow bar.
Can anyone please put up some photos of your tow eye cover/fixed height adjustable tow bar please.
Reason am asking is that the rear panel (tow eye cover) is a really light silver colour, and it looks like a stuck on afterthought from Halfords bargain bin. The rest of the car is black, plus I have got the black pack ordered as well. I dont understand the logic having the panel as a bright silver, as it sticks out like a sore thumb in my opinion. Only reason I can think of, is that it's silver too break up the rest of the black. I would have assumed by having the black pack the rear panel would be black, just like the front?
I do know that in some cases they change the silver tow eye cover too a grey one. At least it tones down the rear end. If this is the case then there is no need too paint it as at least a darker gun metal grey doesn't seem as loud as the silver, which I could live with.
(I know the majority have the electronically deployable one or the removable one, so this is a long shot).

Thanks J77 - i had the exact same as your one, on the FE.
At least it was darker and not as much of a clash as the bright silver.
All they did was replace it with the exact same one, albeit with a factory precut one for the towbar.
Said it was a far safer option than having the garages workshop butcher it.
