Scooby Doo and the mystery machine
Finally solved the mystery of the rear lower silver panels on the D5 which are different. It seems the plain silver ones are hiding the electronically deployable towbar, whereas the darker ones with the 4 vertical slits are used for the normal height adjustable and detachable tow bars.

That's a sore point and a tough one if am honest.
Car was finished Feb 16 th. Guaranteed definite March 1st delivery. Still in compound 7 weeks later. They sourced me another car last week so God only knows when this one was made?? Still it will be 6 weeks late once its picked up

Cheers Doc I was thinking looked like door bits but doors were complete, plus video sound is muffled so I couldn't understand what was being said. Duuuurrrrrrr
Ok it's plastic, I just looked at the video again. Looked like silver initially. Makes sense now

Once I hand it over too my Mrs I am washing my hands off the damn thing. Been a curse from start too finish. And aged me 10 years in the last 6 weeks. Then you will have too put up with the Mrs rants on here and you thought I was bad!!!
