  Phone to HDMI, alternate sound source / stay on when driving

  Hi,
  
  I have successfully connected my phone through the HDMI to mirror on the screen, I am interested in this to use Waze.
  
  1. Has anyone worked out how to keep the display from HDMI when driving?
  2. Is there a way to select a second sound source? (Image from phone, Sound from DAB Radio)

  HDMI is classed as a video input and therefore the system will automatically inhibit the screen when you are moving.
  
  You might be able to get waze through the app \ browser connection in the system though ...maybe others who have tried it can advise on that.
