Imbaw, I think your pretty safe mate as who in the right mind would want too pinch a space saver
Mind you, if it's not nailed down or screwed down they will pinch anything
I would have thought be it a full size, or space saver, the fix would apply too both. I cant see them penalising one over the other.

Well funny you should say that. I know of someone who has had a full size spare nicked. It was replaced by a space saver on the pretence that it would not get stolen. Lo and behold it was too.
I think they were stealing too sell the wheels on for scrap metal - hardly worth the few quid, as oppossed too the damage caused too replace the cable etc, at the owners expense.
I too have been a victim in the past and have now ordered one of Uncle Rays protectors. -

That's scuppered my plan's then, Was gonna take off my full size spare and replace with a space saver.
Save the wheel for the inevitable dings as a replacement and also shed a few punds off the rear end,
