    SatNav bricked...

    Car went in for 1st service yesterday. Didn't get everything done so told them to keep it for another day. Was returned this evening with a bricked satnav - the car still thinks it at the garage and won't update position. I thought it was strange that the guy dropping the car off wanted to make a sharp exit.

    I had the same thing. Ended up with no satnav for a month. The update that broke it was applied again which fixed it - but that broke something else....

    I thought I’d seen someone else with a similar problem but couldn’t find your post. Dealer said they had a 6 week wait for servicing if a loan car was required. Will see what they say when I call them tomorrow morning. Are your problems fixed now?

    I also noticed they’ve made a pig’s ear of the heat resistant material around the spare wheel, probably when they were fitting the anti theft device - it’s ripped in a couple of places and bent out of shape.

    I ended up with the help of LRFS rejecting it due to 12 months of issues. The new one feels so much better. I hope you get yours sorted soon it’s a real PITA when things don’t work.
