For sale, Genuine LR cross bars, only getting rid of them because they are too fiddly to fit by a 78 year old !
They are as new, bought recently and only just managed to fit them today but after an hour, a cup of coffee and settled down decided I don't need them so took them off.
Difficult to post so a sale will probably be a bit limited but at £200 a bargain for somebody.

Can you move the cross bars around on the roof rails or are they fixed in one position?

cross bars
Russel, The rails have pre-drilled holes in them to take a pin located in the foot of the cross bars so have a fixed position if used.
I have read on here of others that have drilled holes 1' forward of the present holes to extend the distance between the bars and I have read on here also of people that have ground the stud off so that you can put the cross bars where you want to.
In both cases it is a 'Modification' but original mounting is using the studs and the pre-drilled holes, ideal for suit cases or top boxes.
Not good for me as I want to carry a 6' and sometimes an 8' ladder.
