    New Diesel? 3.0 Litre Sd6 Diesel Automatic (306HP)

    Just found out that JLR is offering a more powerful version of the diesel engine and no more 3.0 Litre Petrol.
    3.0 Litre Sd6 Diesel Automatic (306HP)
    Power: 306hp
    Torque: 700Nm
    Maximum Speed (mph): 130
    Acceleration 0-60 mph in 7.0 sec
    Combined (mpg): up to 36.2
    CO₂ emissions g/km: from 205

    Is it a new motor or just more HP? Is it with an oil delusion fix?

    From the new options, you can also find:
    - a black or grey contrast colour of the roof option
    - new driving wheel with touch panels like on the new RR and RRS

    This was mentioned somewhere else on this forum I think, but (and correct me if I’m wrong) it is the same engine only with an extra turbo and the things to make this work of course. I hope they have sorted out the DEF problem, but not sure...

    It is the engine that is in the RRS and used to be in the D4 ( lower HP ).

    that too but that would be a little more expensive lol mind u i'm quite happy with my 2l diesel with its 240ponies. but a 3l with 300 ponies would be better lol

    Just a quick note re the new steering wheel option.

    I am currently using a Vogue loan car whilst Disco off road. It has one of these new steering wheels with the piano black switches. I have to say that despite the appearance, they are not as good as the ones previously fitted. The operation of them is vague to say the least, and the dealer service depts. have already been asked to check them at service time to see if they are faulty due to the number of reported issues. I would avoid the option.
