    Apple carplay

    New upload to YouTube is showing Apple carplay on the menu!
    No sign of Android auto yet but it's a start Smile


    2019 D5 Lux. HUD, adaptive dynamics, dynamic pack 2, cooler box, privacy glass, advanced tow assist, black roof rails, massage seats, tech plus pack, detachable towbar, driver assist pack, capability plus pack.

    Interesting. I hope this isn't MY19 only and will appear on MY17/18 cars.

    Maybe its part of Phase 5 for ICTP ??

    I now have a loan Ford Fiesta Zetec while mine has some collision damages sorted.

    Even this has CarPlay !

    I've just searched the UK website.
    Nothing on there about Android auto.
    What a shame we have to learn about what's happening from Landrover Germany.

    According to this website https://www.engadget.com/2018/06/18/tesla-...ce=Twitter the i-pace will be the first one to have Android Auto and Carplay.

    that's not "Land Rover Germany Website". It is Android.com with German language set.

    It COULD mean that. BUT since there is "Phase 5" coming AND they did add Apple Car Play with Phase 5 (at least it looks like it), I am pretty sure Android Auto is gonna come with a "Phase" update too. (Might not be Phase 5, but I do think so.)

    Let's hope my guess is correct.

    I hope Phase 5 does add CarPlay. It works far better than ICTP for music, phone, contacts, maps etc.

    There’s no info on Phase 5 apart from Rumour though currently
