2018 Discovery Td6 SE Corris Grey

    Discovery/Discover !

Last night I was called out by the Police to attend one of the functions I do for wildlife.
As a result it was the first time I have driven my new D5 at night.
I have now found another reason it is called a Discovery - because it is full of things to discover Wink
I did not realise there were lights under the arm rest in the back seats !
Initially when I saw the light in my rear view mirror I couldn't make it out but on further examination Discovered the lights !
Apart from my Rifle, support sticks and maybe an umbrella, nothing ever uses the rear seats so whatever I carry now will travel in style Smile

Agreed on the headlights on full beam. I thought I might miss the bi-xenons but not a chance.

Now with the onset of dark nights there are other things to discover too.
The LR logo on the ground as you get out of the vehicle at night, it is a projection from the 'blob' under the mirror I think. It is not the puddle lights just the LR logo in a round ring of light, very pretty indeed, nice touch.

One other item you may not have seen, is that when the headlights are on and you open the tailgate, the brake lights come on as well - no idea why though !

Raising the tailgate takes a good part of the rear lights up and out of sight. This is compensated by enabling the brake lights Thumbs Up
