    Just to clarify that its not me looking in the wrong place

    - that there is no way to schedule what time the engine starts via the App, and the only way is to get up early and press the button on the phone.

    Correct.

    Scheduling is only possible if you have the "remote timed climate" option installed (I.e. the fuel burning heater).

    Hmmm well I tried this little item this morning - press the ON button and was rewarded with a flash of a green LED every 2 seconds ....... 30 mins later it was still doing the same, but nothing at all happened at the car end

    Another useless item that they gave me with the car methinks - maybe someone on here would like it?

    EDIT - Since writing, now found this item on the Webasto GB website (as a Telestart T91) to confirm it's a remote for the Webasto Park Heater (FBH) Well I don't have one of those seeing as they only fit them to diesels.
