    Seems later MY cars have a plastic shield to stop this.

    I also find good leaf accumulation in the large hole / leaf repository in the front door frame below the A pillar.

    To be fair most of my vehicles over the years have suffered collecting leaves there.
    I'm not saying it's right, just that this issue is not limited to D5's Very Happy
