    TPMS Pairing?

Has anyone replaced a TPMS sensor? With going to 18inch wheels for summer driving (I kept my snow tires mounted on the 20" factory wheels), I purchased a new set of TPMS sensors for the new wheels. The tire installer told me the truck should recognize the new sensors, once I removed the winter set of wheels from the boot. Well the truck hasn't paired to the new sensors, and I haven't found any information in the owners manual.....Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

From what I've read, the car will recognise the new sensors by just driving it. Not sure how far you'd have to drive though.

I found this PDF which on the 3rd page says to drive it for at least 10 minutes at over 18mph.

New sensors are shipped in an inactive, battery saving state. They need to be scanned with a TMPS tool to wake them up and then the car should automatically pair them when you set off driving.

Also check that you have the correct sensors. There are at least 2 different frequencies, the D5 uses 433Mhz.
