    Software Update InControl without SIM CARD

    Hi Guys,

    I have a 2017 Discovery 5 with the incontrol apps but NO Incontrol PRO (so NO sim card).
    After the last software update at the dealer in March 2019 my system shows the option of a software update that i could do by myself (without driving to the dealer).

    Since my car hasnt got the SIM CARD option i was wondering if this option is only accessible for those discos with Live Apps or the other ones too?

    My no-SIM-D5 also shows this option but obviously it does not work. I assume that LR only sold two D5s with InControl touch (yours and mine) and they simply do not bother to fix the firmware. Same with the carplay upgrade, which can not be applied to my car due to "incapable USB terminals" (which certainly is bogus as well).

    I have a MY18 lux and Incontrol pro, but no sim and only 2 USB’s, and of course ACP and all this not possible... so it’s definitely more than 2 cars!
