One day (hopefully soon) I will get used to the blindingly obvious use of this new technology....instead of the steam driven sat navs I have been used to.

Youve got a choice?
We have a Tesco at Ullapool and Dingwall that’s pretty much it apart from Easter Ross and I can name them as well.
The Western Isles is better off, they have a Tesco and a Co-op. Skye just a Co-op. -

Not even in the big smoke of Inverness!
When I lived on the Isle of Harris, we used to do the main shopping once a week, an hour away in Stornoway. They only had a Coop at that time.
But then where would you get this view?

That’s it...rub it in...that’s who caused my problem.
Heading 150miles home with caravan and senior management said “could we call in at a Waitrose en route?”
Never thought to type in Waitrose or Supermarket....sat in lay-by trying to figure out how to filter out all the clothing, bike and knitting shops from Shopping and leave only the nearest Waitrose en route.
Needless to say I gave up. Had to do a 30mile round trip to our nearest Waitrose when we got home, just for some poxy goats cheese and salad dressing no one else does....but WE apparently like.
