Wireless phone charger cup
Hi
Just bought a 2017 HSE Lux and it has a wireless phone cup charger installed in the drink holder.
My phone is too large to use it and it takes up room as well as stopping me from sliding the cover closed so i want to get rid of it.
It is wired through the bottom of the cup holder.
Anyone any idea safest easiest way for me to remove it?

It goes underneath through a hole. Looks well fitted.
Irritating me because its useless to me and its a fight for who gets the remaining drink holder

You'll also need the instructions to take the centre console apart.
I tried to fit one to my car but it refused to work. In all I removed and refitted it (and an alternative one) three times before I gave up and removed it completely.

The first time you do it, allow a good couple of hours and don't rush. The top is a
to get it to unclip, you'll need some good plastic (non-scratch) trim remover tools to pry it off.

Lol i was hoping it was gonna be easier. Like give it a hard yank till it comes off and itll be fine
I think ill wait for car to go in and have it done same time.

Wires look quite thin, so a set of nail clippers will easy do the job.
As long as you tape the wires up separately afterwards.
Last thing you want is the car shorting, and you end up with a toasted D5
