2018 Discovery Si6 HSE Lux Santorini Black

I have taken the cover out as its a pain, as won't cover bigger items in the boot, like suitcases, which fitted no problem in the D4.

Luckily have limo tints all round, to keep prying eyes out.

Having dogs the first thing I do with change of vehicle is put the roller blind into the shed.
Totally useless piece of kit for me!

Yep I’d rather they have it as an option and save me the hassle of bagging it into a black bin liner and slinging it up in the garage roof. Never ever used it.

This is how I’ve covered my inner tailgate.
Just a bit of 2mm check plate off eBay, then bent it and cut the slits in the back.
    Works great.
It’s not fixed in as yet.

Thanks for the nice pictures. This looks like a good solution without the need of any screws. But how do you bend the plate?

Did mine at work on a bending machine.
Any friendly workshop would probably do the folding for you, or if I would if local.
It’s not perfect, but it’s an ok easy fix.
