Do your 2nd row seats fold flat electrically? I have intelligent seat folding so wouldn't know what the HSE seats are like without it.
How often do i use it? Almost never. Need to go take the boot mat out before can put 3rd row up anyway so may as well just press switches in the load area.
Having said that, i downloaded the new app, and the seat fold page is missing completely, so i went back to the original app.
Yep, I can fold the seats from either the rear boot panel or from the inside rear doors (on the C pillar trim) but nothing in the app or from the incontrol touch seat screen option (just heating) car is MY17/67
AFAIK, hardware identical in HSE and HSE Lux. Intelligent seat fold (I.e. from the app and screen) is standard on the Lux and a cost option on the HSE.
I wouldn’t pay extra for the app/screen option, but then I have used the third row once in three months. If you are constantly fiddling with the layout then it would be useful, but still far from essential when the boot buttons do it all so easily.
Nope, mine has CLIMATE, DOOR LOCK, BEEP & FLASH only nothing else.
In the old app, it has the SEATS page, but not in the new one. JLR even got their app developer to email me and they don't understand. (Showing the usual level of competence demonstrated by JLR software people)
Glad the old app still works since i would be pee'd off if i had paid for intelligent and it was no longer available on the app.
OK, but you seem to have lost the ability to fold individual seats?
If I want the 1/3 or 2/3 it’s selected manually.
Electric option is all 3 2nd row down.
Never need the 3rd row unfolded as dogs live in the fantastic boot
Interesting, mine is a 2017 HSE with intelligent seat fold as an option (i didnt spec the car). On the old app you can select any of the 5 rear seats to fold. I am def sticking with the old app, but as said, rarely use it, as need to go and remove the boot mat before folding the 3rd row up for use.
Well just reloaded the old app and it gives me the choice of fold or unfold all not like the newer app.
My D5 HSE lux was used pre LR owned if that means anything to anyone
Agree but row 2 have 2/3 & 1/3 split seat so not really individual selection available..
Admittedly I’ve never even seen the third row since purchased.
