2 Part: Wind noise from sunroof, plastic seal peeling

    Hi,

I have two questions for you guys.

    1. for the first time in a LONG time, I opened the sunroof and as soon as I closed in on the highway I have some wind noise coming from it at above 80Km/h... Any ideas if I can fix this myself of I have to go to the dealer?

    2. By inspecting the car exterior sunroof I found out that one of the seals on the driver's side (right) and at the base at the black plastic area where the sunroof is located, seems to peel or at least it is pointing up and wiggling. See the picture below for the location. Any thoughts on that?

    Thanks guys

Here is a better picture of the plastic thingy

    Hi everyone,

So the sunroof seems to be fixed, they just reset or re-aligned it (I know there is a procedure for that if anyone knows how I can do it myself if it ever happens)...

And for the plastic thingy they told me that it is purely cosmetic, water can't go in and they won't do anything about it, my OCD is not amused.

My understanding is that they would have to remove the whole black part that includes the sunroof to fix it and they do not want to do it despite the car under warranty Sad

Now we can push this to LR and have them issuing a notice Wink
