Speed Camera Warnings
Hi Guys,
I have seen mixed report on this on a different forum and since this forum has the most activity I thought I would ask it here!
I will be picking up an "Ex LR Internal Fleet" MY2019 Discovery instead of our current Audi S5 so we have more space and practicality for the children. On the S5 I was able to upload a POI Database of speed cameras which the inbuilt satnav would then alert me to.
Is this available on the Discovery with InControl Touch Pro?
Cheers, Andy
P.S. I had a Discovery Sport prior the to Audi so yes, I know what I am letting myself into....

No need to upload as they are marked on the maps and both audio/visual warning as you approach.
Even tells you if it is an average speed camera .

Audio and warnings ? Where do i find that ? The map shows me the camera location but does not specifically shout at me or bing or bong...is there something in settings I’m missing, i have a 68 Lux.
When mine was at the dealers for a service the other week they lent me a Disco Sport on a 20 plate and that announced the camera sites, i put it down to a newer car etc.

Not sure I would have to go and check, not changed the settings for over 3 years!

If anyone finds out let me know, in the meantime I’ll find a place to park up to morrow with a long cool drink and see what i can find.

It must be in the settings somewhere...mine has done it from new so I've never gone looking for the setting.
I seem to remember that it warns me twice as I approach each fixed speed camera. Although we don't have any fixed speed cameras around here and it doesn't know about the chief constable's yacht fund vans.

mine bongs if i'm approaching a speed camera and i'm near or over speed. I think it's in the dash control settings somewhere. There are various speed related widgets on the car, you also have over speed warnings you can set so it alerts you either by flashing on the dash or a weird vibration and power restriction against the speed it's reading on the signs and maps.

Well thank you for that informative response, much appreciated.
So yes, France requires you to turn off any sat nav system that displays such things but what about other countries?
