Yes you need finishers as well. See my thread in the tips and tricks section from when I fitted mine..

You can use your original finishers there are marks on the back where you need to cut them out but as Al says it quicker and easier to buy the ready cut finishers

just a quick update,,
got roof rails fitted, didn't buy new finishers, they came with templates, so i just cut holes where needed without removing anything.

Hi Scotty,
Did you fit the roof rails and cut the finishers yourself? Also, did you purchase the OEM rails?
Thanks

sorry for delay,, yes i cut the finishers myself and fitted them myself, not that hard to be honest
the finishers at the front are aluminium and the back ones are plastic, the ones i got came with a template, all be it its not bang on but it gets you in the right area, there's plenty of cover on the rails anyway
the roof rails were on in about an hour and a half, the cross bars on the other hand were a pig.
link below to eBay for the ones i got

Thanks for the response. I take it you cut the holes in the finishers while they were still on the car, rather than removing?
What is the quality of the rails like? Are they the same design as the OEM rails?

yes, cut them while still fitted to car,, used a dremel multi
the rails are good, aluminium, same as oem as far as i know at a fraction of the cost, land rover quoted me £580 just for rails, supply only
I'm just back from devon with 3 bikes on the roof no problems, from glasgow
cheers
