    Mobile Connection

    Hi,

    New to the forum so be nice....

    Since collecting my new D5 last week i cannot use my mobile, it connects dials and receives calls but no one can hear me and i cannot hear them.

    Is this a known fault? had this with the Velar but was correct with an update. I'm currently running S19 A. They confirmed it had had all updates in its PDI, however i know that the Velar was running into the S20's

    Not sure about the issue you are suffering, but they are telling porkies about the software, as we are on 20B now.

    Thats what i thought, same as the Velar.. They also told me OTA updates were enable, but that was also rubbish

    It's not a known problem. The first thing I'd do is test the car with a different phone and test the phone in a different car. You need to know which is having a problem, the phone or the car. Can you play music from your phone over bluetooth in the car? Have you checked that the volume is turned up (it needs to be adjusted during a call)?

    The latest software is 20B but I've not had any phone problems with any of the software.

    Thanks, have test three phones and all have the same symptoms.

    This was an issue on the early Velar (which in part lead to a rejection) so hope it is the same here. Previously with the velar is was when connected to car play but this seems to be via Bluetooth and car play.

    Music, Siri etc all work well.

    Hello, I had the same problems with my phone and D5, update both the car and phones software, currently the Disco should be on version 20B1. Good luck👍
