    Loud click when pulling away

    Has anyone noticed a loud click / relay sound from the seat area when pulling away ?
    I am trying to figure out if its normal or a fault since the battery earth fault.

    When the battery earth was loose the relays were going mad.

    Its back at the dealer today getting the battery earth stub re-welded !

    is it every time, or just when not going in a straight line? eg entering a roundabout, pulling out of a junction?

    My rear diff is more of a thud in those situations than a click I admit...

    Hi its an electrical sound like a relay coming in. Its not the sort of noise you want to hear that's why I think its a fault.

    Took it to the dealer today apparently its the seat relay clicking

    well theres a new thing...theres a seatbelt relay in the back? To show if the belts are fastened?

    Sorted now. Beware if you have the bad earth issue. I think most cars will get this. The earth post on the body is upgraded from M6 to M8. I think this should be a recall.
    My car is a May 2020. I would be interested to know if new cars are still being sold with this defect.
    Happy to inform the forum with more details and pictures.

    Where is the earth post located ? I pick mine up next week I can have a check.👍

    Its in the boot right hand side. If you have the standard M6 it might be an issue. Mine took a few months to cause issues. No starting etc.

    If i was picking up a new disco I would ask the dealer about the earth stud. They have a special rivet gun for the upgraded M8 bolt.
