Got a call today to say my D5 has arrived at the dealership . I am going in tomorrow to discuss getting wheels painted and black pack fitted. Should pick it up late next week I cannot wait. 👍
Great news , we are awaiting new build but I don't expect it till sometime next moth , dealer quoted £500 for painting wheels Blk , missus thinks they will look ok on Eiger Grey but I am unsure at the moment .
I ordered mine on 31st August.Mine had already been specked by Land Rover and couldn’t be changed so part of the deal was the dealership would paint the wheels,fit privacy glass and fir a black pack FOC.
Only pain is it’s at dealership today and will be another week to get all the extras on but will be worth the wait.
As planned went in to see the D5 pre Black pack it looked terrible 😢😢 No tinted windows ,door handles black with silver trim ( told they are like that because it’s a Lux) front bumper valance missing ( it’s in the boot new cars delivered with it off) interior covered in plastic protection .Thats the bad news ....the good news is he showed me a prepped D5 with black pack and looked amazing 😎😎. He is even going to get the body shop to paint the front and rear scuttle plates gloss black and put black Land Rover badges on it free of charge. Was really weird seeing it in it’s just out the factory state.
Yipeeee picked up my new D5 HSE Lux today and it looks stunning. Salesman spent about an hour going over all the functions but to be honest quite difficult to take it all in. Will post up a few pictures tomorrow.🙂🙂🙂
Well done hope you enjoy your new D5. You are lucky your dealer spent so long explaining the controls, when I picked mine up about a month ago I was told that they couldn't show me anything because of Covid.
Good news , I got an email from dealer yesterday with link to hand over videos which I assumed is due to Covid and instead of actual when collecting .
Not had a build date yet .
