Nothing to do with the tow bal module being there, it is part of the tow assist pack, but does show a tow bar has been fitted at some point or at the very least has been enabled.

We now know the dealer that traded it in removed the towbar for that client o put it under an other D5.
So this display does not proof in any way the module is still there : it can also be removed like the frame for the towbar ?
I only see two open cable-connectors on the left hand side of the car.
