Is the car suited for 3G or 4G ? [2017].
I just start to know my 2018 [ buildin 2017 February ], SD4 HSE.
In my F-Pace [2019 build, sold] and my F-Type [2018 build] the datasim gives a "4G" in the display.
The simcard from the F-Pace is now lodged in the D5, but gives a weak signal "3G"...
The module in the D5 is only 3G, or is there some setting I mis ??

No - a vehicle built when yours was is only fitted with a 3G modem. 4G was introduced in the subsequent model year onwards.

OK, thanks. Would that be a firmware ore hardware update, to go to 4G/5G ?

OK. I'll check with JLR if they can replace it. Maybe next year, for 5G..
