Seems like the Japanese technology is miles ahead of LR in terms of functionality and reliability. I also have a Japanese car. Bombproof engines and no issues ever apart from knocking shock absorbers, which were replaced under warranty on my last 2 cars. (It was a known fault, shocks leaking hydraulic fluid). Even the German marques i owned in my younger days like Audi and BMW, both which I am a big fan of were also very reliable, but in comparison its the Green Oval thats always had the most issues in the past, but thankfully this one is virtually perfect.
